Background

I arrived here at the University of Louisville in July of 2005 as an Assistant Professor. Prior to my appointment at UofL, I was a postdoctoral researcher in the area of statistical genetics at the University of Pittsburgh, Department of Human Genetics . Currently, I am working in the areas of statistical genetics, bioinformatics, and genomics and have collaborative ties with the departments of Epidemiology and Public Health , Pharmacology and Toxicology , Molecular, Cellular, and Craniofacial Biology , and Infectious Disease . In addition, I have been appointed the Director of the Statistical Consulting Center as of January, 2007.
